Remembering Lynn, a memorial installation in the Nuquist Gallery, consists of work from the late Lynn Imperatore, curated by Sabrina Fadial and Janet Fredericks.

Friday, September 26 – Saturday, November 22, 2025

Lynn Imperatore was an artist-researcher whose work engaged questions of how art-as-process can enhance and expand our understanding of perception. Her practice-led PhD examined drawing’s capacity to apprehend and articulate the unexpected edges of what can comprise the “visible.” She is co-founder/co-editor of HATCH/Drawing Research Project, has lectured and written extensively about drawing and perception and has exhibited widely. The exhibit features various mixed media drawings that intimately explore the depths of sleep and dreams.
A closing memorial reception for Imperatore will be held Saturday, November 22 at 3:00.
