Friday, April 3 | 5:00–7:30 PM
Artist Talk at 6:00 PM
Join us at the T.W. Wood Museum for the April Montpelier Art Walk and a special reception celebrating two new exhibitions.
On view beginning April 3:
- In our Nuquist Gallery: “Wandering in Hope” features new work by Vermont-based artist Samantha Mercadante Eckert, exploring themes of beauty, memory, and resilience through abstract and mixed-media forms.
- In our Contemporary Hall: “Springtide 2026” showcases a vibrant collection of paintings by members of the Vermont Watercolor Society, highlighting both individual talent and shared artistic achievement.
Enjoy an evening of art, conversation, and community, with an artist talk at 6:00 PM.
The Montpelier Art Walk is a bi-monthly, self-guided arts tour throughout downtown Montpelier, featuring artist receptions, live music, workshops, local dining, and a welcoming, social atmosphere. It’s a wonderful way to experience the creativity and resilience of our capital city.
Art Walk hours citywide: 4:00–8:00 PM
(Some venues may offer extended hours—please check with individual locations.)
