Join us at the T.W. Wood Museum for the October Montpelier Art Walk and a special reception celebrating two new exhibitions.
On view at T.W. Wood Museum:
- In Our Nuquist Gallery: Rain Enters My Diary is a collaborative installation curated by celebrated Vermont writer Howard Norman. The exhibition brings together photographs, drawings, collages, essays, and other works featuring influential artists including Jane Rosen, Anatole Kaplan, Gabrielle Dietzel, and David Bowie.
- In Our Contemporary Hall: The Artist Next Door showcases work by members of the Central Vermont Chapter of the Vermont Pastel Society. Featuring a variety of subjects and approaches, the exhibition celebrates the talent and creativity of Central Vermont’s vibrant community of pastel artists.
Enjoy an evening of art, conversation, and community, with an artist talk at 6:00 PM.
The Montpelier Art Walk is a bi-monthly, self-guided arts tour throughout downtown Montpelier, featuring artist receptions, live music, workshops, local dining, and a welcoming, social atmosphere. It’s a wonderful way to experience the creativity and resilience of our capital city.
