Join us at the T.W. Wood Museum for the June Montpelier Art Walk and a special reception celebrating two new exhibitions.
On view at T.W. Wood Museum:
- In Our Nuquist Gallery: “Sea Wonders” by Carolyn Shapiro & Deb Fleischman. Dive into an immersive underwater world in the Nuquist Gallery with Sea Wonders, a collaborative installation by Vermont artists Carolyn Shapiro and Deb Fleischman. Featuring vivid textile collages and a walk-through kelp forest experience, this exhibition celebrates the beauty, wonder, and interconnectedness of ocean life.
- In Our Contemporary Hall: “Art Resource Association Members Exhibit” by the Art Resource Association. Discover the vibrant creativity of Vermont’s arts community in the Contemporary Hall, featuring diverse works by the talented members of the Art Resource Association. Explore the exhibition and experience a dynamic collection of contemporary artwork from local and regional artists.
Enjoy an evening of art, conversation, and community, with an artist talk at 6:00 PM.
The Montpelier Art Walk is a bi-monthly, self-guided arts tour throughout downtown Montpelier, featuring artist receptions, live music, workshops, local dining, and a welcoming, social atmosphere. It’s a wonderful way to experience the creativity and resilience of our capital city.
