Wood Museum for the April Montpelier Art Walk and a special reception celebrating two new exhibitions. \nOn view beginning April 3: \n\nIn our Nuquist Gallery: “Wandering in Hope” features new work by Vermont-based artist Samantha Mercadante Eckert\, exploring themes of beauty\, memory\, and resilience through abstract and mixed-media forms.\nIn our Contemporary Hall: “Springtide 2026” showcases a vibrant collection of paintings by members of the Vermont Watercolor Society\, highlighting both individual talent and shared artistic achievement.\n\nEnjoy an evening of art\, conversation\, and community\, with an artist talk at 6:00 PM. \nThe Montpelier Art Walk is a bi-monthly\, self-guided arts tour throughout downtown Montpelier\, featuring artist receptions\, live music\, workshops\, local dining\, and a welcoming\, social atmosphere. It’s a wonderful way to experience the creativity and resilience of our capital city. \nArt Walk hours citywide: 4:00–8:00 PM(Some venues may offer extended hours—please check with individual locations.)
